Grão Vasco Dão Red 2013 is medium ruby red in colour. The aroma is reminiscent of strawberries, blackberries and plums combined with a touch of pine, making this a really nice, easy wine to drink before and/or with a meal. It’s a smooth, elegant, medium-bodied wine that slips down easily, with well-rounded tannins and bright, well-balanced acidity.

INNOVATION AND SOGRAPE VINHOS
Sogrape Vinhos is a family company with international vision, focused on innovation, the production of wines of quality, and developing Portuguese brands on a global scale.
The grapes were destemmed and gently crushed, then conveyed by gravity to stainless steel fermentation tanks with automatic temperature control and pumping over. The fermentation took around 5 days, during which time the wine was pumped over numerous times to encourage gentle extraction of aromatic and phenolic compounds from the skins. It was subsequently racked off into storage tanks and the solids were gently pressed in pneumatic presses to extract the wine they contained.
After undergoing malolactic fermentation, Grão Vasco Dão Red 2013 was aged in stainless steel tanks until bottling. Bottling was done in batches, in order to maintain the freshness of the blend. It was then aged for a time in b
